Product description
Water-based acrylic metallic paint for gilding, perfect for painting, tinting, and adding metallic accents to home decor.
This water-based paint contains finely ground metal particles and extremely fine sand for texture in a perfect acrylic medium for application. It can be practically applied on any surface - wood, stone, terracotta, styrofoam, canvas, paper, metal, ceramics, walls, concrete, and more. For best results, we recommend applying two coats, with at least one hour between them. Use simple application techniques – with a brush or sponge, to create unique and elegant decorations. If necessary, before applying the gilding paint, you can treat the base with suitable primers for the specific material and paint it in a neutral color – white, gray, or black. In decoupage, it can be used both as a base and for working with stencils or for accents on relief. This paint creates an exceptionally soft and delicate, satin sheen. After drying, its fine texture is felt to the touch. For the crackle technique, combine with a contrasting color using the gilding paint as a base. This way, you will create unique items from MDF, wood; jewelry from wooden elements that will delicately shine in the cracks of the surface layer. Use stencils for accents on walls or other surfaces in the interior. You will achieve a beautiful, artistic design by applying the gilding paint on reliefs from black gesso. Create a unique vision of panels in MIXED MEDIA style, paintings, jewelry boxes, candle holders, photo frames, or mirrors. You will find all this variety of items and materials in different sections on our website.
IDEA: Create delicate luxury by blending contemporary design in your home with decorative elements or items from a forgotten, yet exceptional style – Art Nouveau, where colors and the soft curves of the effective reliefs are uniquely accentuated by various shades of gold, as well as silver, copper, and bronze. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is not recommended to dilute this paint with water to avoid losing coverage, quality, and the final effect. Use varnish or epoxy resin for finishing coatings depending on the type of decorated surface. Wash the tools you work with promptly with WARM water and soap. All paints from the series can be mixed if necessary. Store at temperatures above 5°C and protect from direct sunlight.
